This is by far the easiest way to put a quilt into a cover. I no longer have the grip or the strength to do the corners and shake version or the climb inside version. I have a single bed but use a double quilt so have always struggled with quilt/cover issues. This way worked and I'm not out of breath or aching. Highly recommend.

Have tried to do this way, but it just doesn't work if you don't have the luxury of space around the bed. My bedroom is small and I physically can't walk around the sides and head of the bed to make the sauasage shape. Sorry, but I'm sticking to the other way!

Unfortunately this video is like every other one I’ve seen that demonstrates the roll method. Once you complete rolling the bundle up and zip it closed, it fails to show how to achieve rolling it out right side up. It is remarkable how many gloss over that critical step. Surely there is a piece that is missing from the video?

Hi Lorraine, thanks for sharing. I gave it a go, but have to agree with other comments thats its quicker to do it by putting quilt corners into the cover and giving it a shake. I also found rolling both the quilt and quilt cover together by myself was difficult. It took around ten minutes.

That works all well and good until you have a duvet cover that does not have a full width opening at the bottom, from experience it's hard work with one of these.

Tried to do this until exhausted after 40 mins and could not, even if it must be me, there is a cut in the video after the first fold that obscures my problem, I think, as end up in an impasse after folding the corners. Later found another video that makes a much better job of showing how to do the critical fold-ins, now realise that this one was not explicit enough for me.

I've tried other ways many times and I find this the easiest and neatest way. Thank you

Ok. I've seen this method in several UA-cam videos. I lie my doona on bed and take the cover corners into the top corners of the doona. Easy. BTW I'm Australian. We don't say duvet. It's doona down here

LOL, I didn't realize that Merle updated his favorite way to make her explode in pure bliss, it’s amazingly satisfying. Although what he suggested before was fairly good, it doesn’t even compare, I did it go’ogling Merle Winestol, and she just can’t have enough now.

I just shove it all in there then go into the cover and put the corners in the other end. Then I come out and shake it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it's lumpy and doesn't want to fill in properly. The easiest way is to spend an hour fixing it, then never wash your bedding again.
